Great Con!

Appleseed Comic Con is over and it was a great time for me! Got to hang out with my brother, talk comics with people.

 Appleseed Comic Con!

Talk shop with cool creators like Nate Utesch, Andy Jewett, Paul Hornschemeier, Tim Baron and a whole bunch of others!
#KillerCroc #doodle at #AppleseedCominCon. Totes forgot to take pix of most commissions….#Loki #doodle at #AppleseedCominCon. Totes forgot to take pix of most commissions….New #minicomic ready for tomorrow’s Appleseed Comic Con. @appleseedcon

It was my most successful con to date. With very little overhead this year I did pretty well with the mini comics I took, did about 15 commissions and sold some backstock! All in all it was pretty Awesome!

Zack Kruse, the organizer is a righteous man! He works tirelessly for others and for the love of comics and it makes you want to work hard for others too. His enthusiasm is contagious, he's super smart, he's a good comic writer and a good bud!

Hope you all had a good Mother's Day and a great weekend!

Ghost and Boy with Color

The final color version. Still playing with tone and color for the look of my other project. Getting closer. Thanks to Tim Baron and Aaron Minier for toning help.

Valentine's Card '09

It started with a sketchbook drawing. I've been into the whole complicated protective suit thing for some reason, lately.
Then we painted a whole sheet of water color paper with texture.
Cut into pieces.

And more pieces.
Attached multiple printed copies of the drawings with glue and added a border.
Some stamps from our daughter's collection and...
Now we gots us a nice stack 'o' Valentimes!
