Me as Tin Tin

I drew Tin Tin as a self-portrait because when I had short hair I kinda looked like him. Definitely had the little whip of hair. So I added glasses and my new beard, but now it just looks kinda creepy. heh!

I remember discovering the Tin Tin books back in Middle School. I think the first book I saw was even in french. I couldn't read it, but the story telling captured me! I searched them out at the library and the adventure and action and childlike wonder still gets me today.

Comics in Progress

Working with a friend on a story. He created the story, I created the pictures. His nickname is Zippy. I don't have a good nickname like that.

"I hear dead people."

"Miles"
Fan art for Lost. I've been sketching the characters as I get ideas for them. It's fun. I sketch the ideas then watch the show and put the details in. During commercials.

Here's the original drawing from my sketchbook.

Hurley's next.

...Like a Dork...

So, as a teacher I have to get my license renewed every so often and that means I have to get credits, as in college. I really don't want to sit through all the boring-patootie stuff so I was psyched when this class came along that offered photoshop instruction that I could take for credit.

I knew enough photoshop to bovine excrement my way through some situations, but now I'm more dangerous and rockin' like a nerd in a dork store!

I took a real simple drawing and made it much more complicated, layerery and stuff. But, at least I know how to do it now.
